Is There Gunpowder In Party Poppers?

pictures of my work

Pregnant Craving Parsley

Hi everybody, today I
would imagine even a little bit of my organization (Horizonte Azul).
In all there are three different grounds. On one of them is our Volunteerhouse, which with 3 rooms and bath and living area (kitchen, dining room and living room in one) for 5 people is not too large. ;-) It is small but also really comfortable and mold on the ceiling bother me so far. (My roommate I have now met and finally he is super nice.)
are located on the main campus are also many houses, in which the older children (8-18 years employed). Whether by playing drums, make puppets, table tennis and many other things. It also includes some administrative buildings and the kitchen and the dining room for employees.
on any other grounds of maternal are I, II and III and the Bercario I and II The Maternal is children aged 3-4 years. Each group consists of 10-15 children and two Tias (caregivers). The day for the children at the Maternal looks like this: 7:30 clock arrival, breakfast, indoor games, snack (in the form of fruit) outdoor play, lunch, nap ... more I know, unfortunately, not yet, because I've worked only in the morning there. In Bercario the very small children are cared for (1-2 years). These children have to be careful, of course, even more than the others and so the children can not play along with the larger ones. Even outside, but separated from the others. The day is actually the same as for the children in the Maternal. All children be given about 7:30 clock from her parents there and picked up around 16:30 clock.
On the third and final area is the Horta (outside), is grown in the whole fruit and vegetables for horizons and Monte Azul. In addition, the facility where the waste is sorted, the Jardim I and II and the Pre-Escola (preschool). In the garden I've only worked one afternoon and weeds plucked. The pre-Escola is a Waldorf school, which lies just under construction. Currently there are only a first class (as of winter, so the new school year, there is a first and a second class). In Jardim children aged 4-6 years are cared for. This work has been my most fun. It is business as well as from the Maternal and Bercario, except that the children are just a little older.
Each of these three areas also has its own kitchen, is in the sometimes half-days worked by the volunteers. Each volunteer
must have to choose according to his settling-in period for an area. Either here to work with the elderly (which I've not yet met properly), the pre-Escola and the smaller ones (Bercario, Maternal and Jardim). Then I will each have a half day in the garden, working in the waste management facility or in a kitchen and the other half in the area for which I have decided.
For me, this acclimatization period just ended and now I've decided for a combination of two areas (which had none against). I will now work from half a day a week in the garden and the garbage sorting plant and the other days in the Jardim I and in two different groups of pre-Escola. This is also the area has given me the most. The children with whom I will work from now to January first are thus 4-7 years old.
Moreover, there is every Monday morning a meeting of us (the volunteers) with our coordinator and on Thursday afternoon, a meeting place of all employees instead of Horizonte Azul, in which it comes to organizational matters. And once a month there is a meeting of all employees, including with those of Monte Azul. This will take place there.
I think next time I will upload a few photos of my work area. until then ...
Kind regards Christian

What Are The Membership Costs At Weymouth Club

The "Club of the German language"

After and after I want to now imagine my different projects, now I'm starting with the German Club in the History Workshop to:

meet every Tuesday at 12 clock is usually about 7 older men and women and their teacher in the history of Natasha's workshop to a German club. Some of them have lived for a short time in Germany, for the most part they were during the war, forced laborers in Germany, some have also again later lived in Germany or anywhere else learned German and at the meetings usually a text read and translated and then also learned grammar. Recently we have read parts of Erich Kastner's Emil and the Detectives. At the moment we read Cinderella by the Brothers Grimm. Cinderella's already for German to read sometimes difficult because the language a bit outdated, so it is for students of German, of course, again difficult and often leads to some communication problems, such as "reading lenses" that has nothing to do with the reading of a text has, or that the "rice "Rice is not only the food but also an obsolete form of" sticks ". Since then I am asked most often and have to consider simpler or more common synonyms.
The most beautiful is the German Club for me is always watching the older ladies and gentlemen, among themselves, they can not talk and talk in between, when the other's turn, because they know it, of course, still a little better, or they jabber among themselves rather than listen and then when they turn they do not know where it's our turn to reading, they argue about phrases and words, etc. Sometimes you get the feeling they are worse than school children;). Moreover, they are never at a loss for an answer, for example, has one of the men responded to the task of Natasha, he gives us should not hesitate to call a Minsk Attraction, "I of course," the same Lord welcomes one of his "classmates" again and again in German with "Good day, you scoundrel!". is
After reading and grammar then usually still drank tea and biscuits or bread, or what anyone else has so bring your own eating and talking. Among themselves they always talk in Russian, but to me they always try to speak German and endeavor then that I understand only yes and are always very proud when I assure you to demand that the sentence now correctly was.

Natascha will stop now, however, to lead the German club, but the last two times it was her successor, Iryna. With her I had already thought about the fact that we want to do in the future even more than Germany, individual cities or states, and we have already decided in the next German Club, yes on 9 November will be the topic of the Wall and the 9 to treat November in German history. I have also been the object of one of the participants that I should talk to him a text from a German test and record, so he can listen to it is to learn always, for your MP3 player with all sorts of German lyrics and songs, he is always able ;). I think it's great that he still knows so well with technology and it is definitely not an everyday sight to see one over 70 years old, gray-haired grandfather with MP3 player and earplugs. However, I must now tell me now, my first time dealing with technology, because until now I have no idea how to record the ...

That's now far from the first German club. Another amusing experience I had today in the Metro station Kupalowskaja:

This is the poster for the concert on 3 Sabaton November in Minsk for the yes I already have a card. The spelling of English names in Cyrillic gets me every time you smile, from "Alestorm" will be times "Aljestorm" or "Steelwing" "Stilwing.

Hair Extensions With Blonde Highlights

but now a blog!

I me after some thought, but now decided to do a blog about my volunteering in Minsk. Because of this, but now it takes almost 2 months, the beginning is the first time the summary be like this ...

began my first year abroad, with two weeks' seminar in Germany. Of 3 September to 11 September we had our preparation seminar in Hirschluch with 130 other volunteers from ASF. In our PAG's (process groups) and in workshops, we have prepared ourselves for our future work. In retrospect, I think that the seminar was very good and useful, but during the seminar time I found it annoying at some point but now having to explain again why I do this FSJ and what are my expectations and so ... I also found the state between adoption of family and friends and a real departure very strange because it had already been adopted, but was still in Germany. On 10
September was the big farewell party and during the night and morning of the 11th September, then all the other volunteers, but us, broken into their project countries. We still had our country seminar in Berlin-Dahlem. However, before I went there, I'm still used to the Sunday morning with my sister Ruth and their children who were in Berlin to take.

The workshop in Dahlem was then just especially for Russia, Ukraine and Belarus Volunteers. There was then a lot of concrete information on the situation in the countries and also to our living situation. There I then learned that my projects have changed again. I was expected to work in the Dolja (a club of former forced laborers), a device for the disabled and the children's home in Novinki, my main project is now, however, the Jewish social and cultural Hesed-Rahamim. More below. On 14
September was going on but then finally the train to Minsk. The train ride was very exciting, once the train is in itself, with rugs on the floor and a cozy little compartment in the purely fit all our luggage but only with much Gequetsche. Night-on-5 then we crossed the Polish-Belarussian border, and then our train was then implemented, as the rails are 89mm wider. During the implementation, I am but then fell asleep again. At 11 clock we finally arrived in Minsk. On the taxi ride to our apartment, I felt like a little kid with enormous eyes that the world is and have no idea where to look first. This feeling continued even the next day, because there are just too much to discover.

Once in the apartment, I then unpacked my suitcase first, so I felt right then arrived, and the feeling after two weeks of not more from the Cases have to live was great!
The first few days we spent with the registration process and ensure that all projects which are available in Minsk to attend. In addition, Tina and Laura, our predecessors here in Minsk, a city organized rally for us, so we know a little better Minsk.
Well, then began the daily life and work. Mondays and Wednesdays I work now in Jewish Social and Cultural Hesed Rahamim. Mondays I am usually with drivers traveling to various clients of Hesed. There are several services, such things as meals on wheels, then a linen service where we pick up the sheets with the clients and bring them fresh and last Week we have distributed food packages. At the moment I am still using a driver and a companion on the road, so we bring you two of a small parcel to the people. But at the moment it is mainly dadrum that I had to learn the processes and the clients get to know me, so I later can also travel without a companion. On Wednesdays I go it is usually two "babushkas (grandmothers). First I go to Esther. She sits in a wheelchair, but she lives together with her daughter, she needs no help in the home, but just someone who talks to her. We have already seen photo albums and she brings a whole lot of words in Russian when I say it in German and then again must, for once she could speak German and is very sad that she has forgotten it.
Then I go to Irina Ivanovna. I got your address via the Hesed. She also used to help as volunteers in the Hesed, but even now she is old and because she is not Jewish, can do nothing for them Hesed. With it, I drink mostly tea and also first be forced to eat something ("Sweetie, I have to feed up yet). Then I help her be at home, I clean windows or wipe dust or what grade is dependent to do so. Irina used to be German and English teacher, so we mostly spoke German at the beginning, now we talk about simple things in Russian and when I do not understand something but in German.
About Hesed I visit another family, mother and daughter. The daughter is in a wheelchair but can walk with assistance and with a built especially for her frame in the apartment. I help them sometimes in the home, or I go for a walk with his daughter, or simply entertain me with her.
Tuesdays I'm in the History Workshop, which is a museum on the site of the former ghetto of Minsk, where there is an exhibition about the fate of former forced laborers in Germany, also quite a lot of events and discussions. An event is the "Club of the German language." There meet a number of earlier Ladies and gentlemen, and learn German. I was already held a PP presentation of Merzig and Saarland, otherwise we read right now, for example, Cinderella by the Brothers Grimm or Emil and the Detectives. After the "instruction" will still always drank tea and told. In the History Workshop otherwise I have already helped with the proofreading of a book. In the book told through interviews, the stories of people who had to make in Germany forced labor.
About the History Workshop I visit also Anna Ivanovna. She was forced laborer in Germany and lives very near me, I help her in the budget.
two days a week I work then on the small children's ward in the children's home in Novinki. The work is very different, on the one hand, it makes me enjoy my involvement with the children, but are the states in Novinki sometimes very depressing. Fortunately, up on the small children's ward is a nice teacher who told me at the beginning just to the individual and the children something to me at the moment a lot of shows what I can do with them to promote it.

So much for my first, I will try in a few days time to upload some photos, but have to look, because my computer does not our internet, so I have always been my roommate Hannah angammeln to the laptop ... But I hope that this will change if my laptop back on it has XP and one of our German Mitfreiwilligen has promised to give me that.

Greetings from sunny and autumnal Minsk!

Rio de Janeiro and my first work week

Last weekend I was with 4 people Solidaria from the league and one of ARCO (not too far away from here, because I had also applied for) in Rio de Janeiro. As announced, I would now write a few lines about it.
We are then quite late on Friday (23:55 clock) with the bus to Rio, and were then started on early Saturday morning there. So we had Couchsurfing operate and as I said to sixth, were the first we knew not whether we all come together somewhere. Then we had Gleuck and we got it all under a very nice Brazilian, who received us warmly. We wanted a place to sleep until just have, but what then offered us was almost unbelievable. Our host lived on an island in a lake in the south of Rio. You could reach the island only by boat, it went no cars on it and it was everywhere small, beautiful winding streets to see. In addition, there were all sorts of birds and even small monkeys that flitted over the power lines. ;-) It was all much better than we had imagined. We could not and serve the beer in the fridge, were allowed to use the Internet and he and his roommates have also drove the whole long weekend all over Rio. On Saturday and Monday night we were in the party Lapa, once in a pub once in a disco. On Sunday evening we were on the neighboring island of our host at a party. About us on the day the two have shown each of the city. On Saturday we were before we were picked up by our host still in the National Library of Brazil, on Sunday we were only at Sugarloaf, but since the weather was too bad, we went to a beach just below the Sugar Loaf. We also have on Sunday and another tour with a boat made over the lake to see all sorts of animals, and A. crocodiles (which was very cool). On Monday we were still ;-)). at the Copacabana (gorgeous beach As on Tuesday then our bus back to Sao Paulo, drove much we all a bit difficult to enter there. We want to stay Wearen Leang, but it will not be the last time was that I was there. After 6.5 hours we ride in turn came on Tuesday evening completely finished by the beautiful weekend again in Sao Paulo.
went on Wednesday then released my first work week. The first 2 weeks I'm going to look into it everywhere to get a first impression and then I will decide where the next time I want to work. On Wednesday I was before and after noon in the Jardim (care of children aged 4-6 years). This work has me a lot of fun, although it is a bit difficult when I do not understand the children, the children of the other but do not understand why I do not understand ;-). I was for all children can do the "Tio" (really means "uncle", but all workers are so named, or the female "Tia"). But the important things I realized quickly when the child swings the same time of 6 called "Tio Wed Balanca" (translated: "Tio me rocking" throwing in the sense of.) That was a little tiring with so many children but it has given me so far was the most fun.
On Thursday morning I was in Maternal I (care of children aged 3-4 years). That was not quite as stressful because the kids have asked me for a long not so much ;-). I then bescheaftigt afternoon with the very small in Bersario II (care of children aged 1-2 years). Since I finally had no communication problems, at least not with the children ;-) but it emulate a lot more, such as small moving, washing and trapping ;-) (because they made fun out of it before I run away, so I can not move) ... Only the winding me stay FAR saves ...
Then on Friday I had first in the waste sorting system ;-) and then in the afternoon Horta (garden) work. When working in the garden I also managed my first Leang conversation in Portuguese, which I was very proud. Generally, I've also noticed that I understand a lot more than last week. This is really cool ...
Much more can not really say first ... I hope you are back home all good and I hope something to hear from you ...
I can not, however, as often reported, because I currently in Horizonte Azul had no internet and I am always rely on an Internet cafe.
Kind regards
Christian

How Long Does It Take For Scar Serum To Work

My arrival

Oi, I've finally

to tell sometimes what ... :-)

Then I'll start at the beginning:
The airmen from Stuttgart to Paris and then from Paris to Sao Paulo has it all worked out great, even if I had the 12 hours on the second flight presented significantly shorter. As I flew during the day, I could not sleep at all and to me the flight were still longer than we had it anyway. When we looked estimated 10 hours almost nothing but water and clouds finally flew over the Brazilian mainland, it was again a bit more exciting. Inland, you could bewudern a lake after another, which somehow had all the abstract form. ;-) And then landing at Sao Paulo has flashed me right, although I was already told in advance much ... But this city is even bigger than I thought.

After I got off the plane fairly quickly and easily all my luggage had together, I made my way to the shuttle service available. I was lucky and the bus that would take me to another airport (located close to my office) came immediately. While of approximately one-hour bus ride, it was already dark. When I arrived at the other airport was no one who was to pick me up. From the "Brazilian punctuality" Although I had previously heard, but that will take more than two hours before someone came, I found it very funny ;-)! The Brazilians halt ...

It had become too late now and the very first night, I then slept in the Volunteerhouse Monte Azuul. The people I've met there, or knew about Facebook, already, were all very nice. The next morning I went with a few volunteers for their work in Monte Azul. Once there I should be "short!" wait times, and then by an employee travel by car to a branch of Monte Azul (Azul Horizonte). After two hours it was already going on but then ;-)
In those two hours I sat with all my luggage on the grounds of Monte Azul. Of course, it took not long before the first curious kids came to me and introduced himself. Some of them have already tried to teach me some Portuguese :-) (more or less success! ^ ^) And the kids were all very friendly and open.

Then I'm so driven to my new home in Horizonte Azul. There I was greeted by the other volunteers very friendly. In the Votunteerhouse been living here 4 volunteers (3 girls, 1 boy). I now have my room respect what I'm going to share with the boys, of all things is still the 1 1 / 5 weeks traveling and so I live here alone. This one is Mexican by the volunteers, is spoken in Voluhouse not only German but also very often a mix of English and Portuguese. This I also hope to learn the language faster.
My room and the general Voluhouse are actually very cool, just our washing machine worries me a bit ;-) (see photo, followed by more in the neachsten days:)) but even that will go on ...

to my work, I can not not write much, because now I will look into it until the next 2-3 weeks and then I'm going anywhere for a Range decide.

is all in all I am very well and I am just me settle in here, but this is perhaps something to take.
now on weekends I'll do with some other volunteers on a trip to Rio and stay there am Tuesday, as this is a public holiday on Tuesday. I am looking forward very well and perhaps it is to me indeed a new report ...

See you all love and greetings

Christian

Denisemilani.com Problem

After another 12 hour flight I will arrive at 17:15 local time in Sao Paulo, it's already 22:15 here in Germany but ... Thus, if a long journey for me ...

I am very happy that we finally made it at last and I'm really looking forward to the new experiences I will do there. Only in the first few days I have some jitters, as the language with me just still not located and therefore can be somewhat difficult. Well I will survive it. ;-)

Yesterday I was the last time with some friends at our favorite pub. It was very cool to see you all again before it for me now that "adios amigos" (yes I know that English is ^ ^)

I register again if I'm in Brazil ... until then enjoy yourselves and if you like me so you can also leave some comments ... 'm Happy with everything I hear from you ...
